Scorchin Surface
« on: October 08, 2006, 04:52:08 PM »
I was wondering how the reactions are different with:
1. OOB with Ruff buff
2. OOB with Factory Finish
3. 220 with ruff buff
4. 220 with factory finish
5. 400 with ruff buff
6. 400 with factory finish
How much more or less will it hook with the above surface preparations?

Another ? is my scorchin' drilled typical 1E, and now I've learned how to put more revs, and in the drilling instructions it says "it may be inconsistent for bowlers with high RPM's, use 2E layout instead." Would I benefit from having it redrilled 2E?

i bought mine for oiler conditions and left it at 600 grit wetsanded. mine is drilled with the pin right next to the ring finger and the cg stacked. no hole was needed as the ball started with a low amount of top weight.
