Pin out 1" right of ring finger-cg at 45-rough buff finish
Current conditons I'm bowling on aren't supporting this ball-especially mid to heavy carrydown. Is there something I can do with the coverstock to still keep the flare and the backend reaction. Last season, this was the primary ball I used-haven't used it too much this season-maybe a game or so. I've had it baked, re-surfaced and brought back to out of the box finish. I love the drilling on this ball but it's just not reacting this season much.

If there really is heavy carrydown, there are very few balls that would keep their backend punch under those conditions, if any. Perhaps a particle ball will help you on the backends, but it might be more a question of just trying to play a more direct line with the Absolute.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

I'd suggest a gray scotch-brite on the spinner with water. This will dull it slightly to read the midlane, but still give you some angle at the breakpoint. You may have to play a little straighter, as splendorlex suggests.
One of my friends uses his all the time on conditions that you describe. We just have to keep it real clean and a little dull...
