Brunswick Arsenal Help
« on: November 22, 2010, 08:28:48 AM »
I went to the Brunswick site to familiarize myself with the current lineup. After reading about all the bowling balls, this is what I came up with for a possible tournament arsenal. Any thoughts?

Asymmetric ball heavy oil ?  I'm thinking 3.5 or Siege

Symmetric ball heavy oil ?  I'm thinking Diamondback

Asymmetric ball med/heavy ?  I'm thinking Wicked Siege

Symmetrical ball med/heavy ?  I'm thinking Revolver

Benchmark ball ?  I'm thinking Anaconda

Medium skid flip ?  I'm thinking Damage or 4.5

Light oil ball ?  I'm thinking Slingshot or Avalanche Urethane

Two comments.  First, for me anyway, the Revolver can handle more oil than the Diamondback, so I'd swap the two.  Second, I'd give the v4.5 the nod over the Damage, as IME it will handle a wider range of conditions.

Apart from that...I like the way you think.

I would agree with Ray. I personally prefer the Avalanche Urethane over the Slingshot but that's just me.
