Title: Absolute question, coverstock question

I've never had any luck polishing any ball in the past, but has anyone had any luck shining up their Absolute Inferno?  What type of polish was used?  Spinner or by hand?  What type of reaction did this give the ball?  If I had my pro shop shine the ball up a little, would this take away some of the mid lane & give the ball more of a skid flip reaction?
