i only throw brunswick but i was kind of interested in getting an action (columbia). does anyone know what ball in the brunswick line this would be similar to?

Isn't the Wizard just a remake of the Nemesis?

the action is one of the lowest RG balls i've ever thrown. that thing starts revving in my backswing. its smooth, revs early and if you arne't careful will burn out a bunch. i'd call it nearer the scorchin than anything.

From several reviews (BTM and people here), it seems that the Action is slightly stronger and less flippy than the Nemesis, with slightly more overall hook than the Strike Zone. The M80 cover is similar to solid Activator. Actually the New Action Max is supposed to be a slightly better overall ball than the Action, although Columbia is marketing them as complementary. The Action Max is definitely an oiler. I am not sure exactly how the Action Max and the Scorchin would compare. The Scorchin have that very low grit, 600, vs the Action Max's almost 1200 grit, would probably be slightly earlier.
