Just wondering if anyone has tried two different drilled Impulses, lets say one 5"+ pin to PAP with a weaker MB placement and one about 4"pin to PAP with a medium/strong MB placement? How many different looks can you get from this ball? Some balls you can drill differently and they'll react like night and day, but some you can drill differently(ex. the Inferno Series for me), and still get a similar read to where you don't really need them both. Just wondering.

I can't speak specifically to the Impulse Zone, or to the differences in reactions between two Impulses with different pin-to-PAP and PSA-to-PAP distances, but I do recall the results of a ball test that Brunswick did with a couple of the local staffers a while back. Two Time Zones were drilled for each staffer, with the same pin-to-PAP distance, but one with a zero-degree layout (that is, where the line from the pin through the PSA marker coincided with the line between the pin and the PAP), and one with a 90-degree layout (where the locator line was at a 90-degree angle from the line between the pin and PAP). Both balls were left in box condition. One of the staffers was a left-handed stroker, the other a right-handed power stroker. I don't recall the exact lane condition, but they had requested something with more volume on the outside than the usual house shot. For both bowlers, the zero-degree ball hooked eight more boards than the 90-degree ball, all in the midlane and back end.
