For those of you that have one, what surface are you currently using? Mine seems a bit over/under on my house shot (OOB).

If I remember right mine was hooking a bit early on the house shot for me so I took it to 1000 abralon and high polish it it worked way better for me.

To smooth out over/under I usually knock the "gloss" off a bit.
Try taking a slightly worn 2000 pad at higher speed with water, then use the ball. You can adjust from there, but this will remove the "under" from the over/under, and then you can make a small move inside on the lane, if needed.

The Anaconda is a strong and smooth performer for me and most everyone I know when you match up the surface with your particular condition. Let me know if you need further help.

I like the 4000 Siaair finish for most moderately conditioned house shots. I have found that on the moderate flatter conditions the 2000 finish gets the ball to square up and roll into the pins better.

Mine is at 4000abralon with polish. It does get a little flippy at times on the heavier synthetic THS but I think for my arsenal this is where it fits. If I do a surface change for the THS it will probably be 1000abralon with polish or 4000 no polish.

PBAX league this summer is where i'll really find out the true identity of this ball.

Have mine at 4000 abralon goes long with a skid snap reaction. Ball hits very hard .

I took the advice and hit ball with slightly used 2000 grit abr. pad. This was a huge improvement. Now, the ball was rolling a good deal heavier, and started checking up a bit early mid 2nd game. My question is, can I put a LITTLE, polish on it, or will it defeat the purpose.

The easiest thing would be to make a small move towards the center of the lane (house shot) to get some skid that way. No polish can create skid as well as good old lane oil.

Another option is to try some serious surface (maybe 500) and a small dose of polish, but that would likely make the ball even more aggressive still.

If an area of the lane is truly dried out just about anything is going to read earlier than you want. These balls are designed to react to friction plain and simple.
