Does anybody have/throw both? I was wondering how they compare and whether or not they would compliment one another,
(with same drilling). Thanks for reading.

JJM,

If you are looking for a 2 ball arsenal, these two would compliment each other very well. You would probably need a Damage for the drier stuff but for a league arsenal you would cover a good range.

Diamondback on the fresh, Anaconda for the extra length and snap.

I agree with Corey. They compliment each other very well. Do not let the smaller price tag fool you. These are very nice, high performing, pieces.

Slightly off-topic, but: Where exactly does the Damage fall with the Snake line? Isn't the Damage suppose to start a new series that eventually replaces the snakes?

I always kind of thought the Damage and the Anaconda to be very similar. Both for Med-Dry, with the Anaconda a little more rolly, the Damage a little more flippy. Is this correct?

Anaconda is stronger and rollier than Damage on oil. On real short patterns they act pretty similar.

If you were to match box finishes on the Anaconda and Damage either dull or shinned the Anaconda has a much stronger cover Activator plus vs PK18.

My brother had an Anaconda and took it up to 4000 with polish to match my Diamondback Pearl. Same covers little different core. They were very similar and very aggressive. It takes the Anaconda from a even ball to a more aggressive skid snap.

I've got both the Anaconda and Diamondback with the same layout.

Diamondback is the ball of choice when the midlanes are wet.

Anaconda I can manipulate a bit more with my hand and try to open up the lanes once they burn out a bit.

The Diamondback plows through the oil better and the Anaconda can come off the dry a little harder.

The damage is damn long. With the same layout as my Avalanche Slide, it is actually a pinch longer for me. It is a great option when the midlanes are fried, a little oil is downlane and the surface is soft, especially on wood.

Both of these balls are pretty early reads in the midlane. But, they do compliment each other well. They give you a different look than most of the recent Brunswick stuff such as the wicked. the Wicked is long with a very hard move on the backend which is a bit different than what Brunswick is known for. The Diamondback and the Anaconda have a different look on the lane...there is absolutely a place for these in an arsenal.
