I purchased one of these from ebay for cheap. As has been stated on these boards before the cover is very mild. On a heavier freshly oiled shot the ball looked a lot like a plastic ball with a core. You could see the ball rev up and do nothing. However, on a broken down shot this thin rocks! When everything else is hooking to much take this ball out and kill them. It hooked less than my urethane groove. I love it! A great ball, just misrepresented in its description. I can always buy balls that will hook so this is really valuable for me. If anyone has a #16 they don't want message me.

I think it is PK17 solid, polished? I got myself a Revolution Renegade from 2000 recently, and although advertised for mwedium to oily shots then, it is a good light condition ball today, probably similar to your Quantum. Goes 40' dead staright with a 4x4 drilling, and then turns the corner in a quite sharp and continuous curve. Oil will leave it skidding helplessly, but with some dry bboards to cling to, not a bad ball

I've used balls with pk 17 and whatever this is it is much milder than that. Reminds me of my slate blue gargoyle.
