Brunswick Raging inferno current equivalent
« on: February 01, 2011, 01:59:59 AM »
I have used a friends Brunswick Raging Inferno and it has worked very well for me.  It is an older model ball and I dont see any for sale online.  Can anyone make a recommendation for a current equivalent that will have similar characteristics?

Anaconda comes pretty close to the raging inferno. Ball hits very hard on medium to medium light conditions. You won't be dissappointed.

The closest thing that i am thinking is a diamond back. The diamond back has the same cover just a little smaller core.

You may want to try a Wild Thing, close in numbers but totally different cover as the RI is activator particle pearl. Adjust cover to get a similar reaction to RI.  my .02..........9

The Raging Inferno had an Activator Particle cover. Although the new Jack core is different, the Revolver has a very strong cover with an additive to create friction. In my estimation the Revolver, with the right layout, and maybe a tiny bit of polish, would get you where you want to be.

hey joe,
but the ball in question was a raging not a ultimate.  I did do my research before I posted on here.  Here's why I said it was the closest in my opinion.  The raging is a activator particle, the diamond is a activator solid.

Although it has a different core shape, the Wild Card would match up covers pretty well.  It starts up pretty early, is very smooth and I think it is also on sale =)
