Hi everyone, i was thinking about doing a surface change video for my apha max if enough people want me to. Just leave a comment letting me know if you would like me to as well as what surface you would like to see. I was thinking 2000 abralon and then 2000 plus polish. Let me know what you think. Thanks

The only things that are truly permanent are death and Sharpies.

I believe when you lower your expectations, you only increase your chances xD

If you want to do a surface changes video, I'd do 2 things. One is have a wide range of surfaces, try a very rough surface, like 500, then a middle range such as 1000 or 2000, then 4000 wetsand and then a polished one, like 2k+polish.

The second thing I'd do is film it on a sport shot. On a house shot, I can get most balls to the pocket from the same line regardless of layout and surface prep. A sport shot will show the true differences between surfaces the best.

Yea thats what i was thinking, not sure about the 500 though, i think that would be a little to much. I would love to be able to do a video on a sport shot but the center i bowl at doesnt put those out, but i can see if they can. Thanks for the suggestion.

if you can just go walk into the shop and change the cover then I think it would be awesome to see the ball at all those surfaces (500-4000+polish), and if possible get lined up with the ball in OOB then throw the ball from the same line with all the surface changes... would be nice to see the difference.
