Twisted layout #3
« on: December 24, 2007, 08:31:43 AM »
My wife bought me a twisted for x-mas. It has a 4.5 inch pin. Has anyone tried the recommended lenght + backend layout? I throw with medium revs at 14-15 mph. Merry X-mas!

Yeah, I got my Twisted like #3 and #4 mixed, because of my slow speed/high revs, pin about 5 3/4" from pap, mb about 4" from pap, about 1 1/2" right of thumb, pin is above my middle finger (rh); I love it, it goes extremely long, and a strong pop at the end, great for house shots.  I normally stand left and throw right, w/this ball I stand more in the middle, b/c how long it goes.

One thing about this ball is that even w/this drilling, it still moved thru carrydown.  I moved 5 boards all night in league, and that was moving left b/c it started to turn harder.  The carry is crazy too.  My first game w/this ball, I was hitting extremely light, and all sorts of messengers were flying everywhere.  And I bowl in a house that has brand new pins with 20 year old side kick plates.  Maybe b/c of the stored energy with the drilling.  First night shot 670.
