Fewer balls to cover more conditions?
« on: February 09, 2015, 08:12:25 AM »
After spending the past two years staying pretty exclusive with another manufacturer, I've recently been compelled to start bagging some Brunswick/DV8, and I've been very happy pleased with the results.

The biggest thing that I've noticed is that I feel like I can cover more conditions with fewer balls using the Brunswick/DV8 stuff versus that of the previous company I was using. Traditionally, I've carried an 8-ball (including spare ball) tournament arsenal. With the Brunswick/DV8 stuff I'm carrying, I feel like I have all conditions covered carrying just 4-6 balls. Using a Mastermind, Brutal Nightmare, Mastermind Genius, and Melee Jab, I can pretty much control all of the lane conditions and shot shapes I need.

If you've strayed away from Brunswick/DV8/Radical over the years, consider taking another look. I think that all manufacturers make good stuff these days, but the stuff I'm using from Brunswick is standing out above the rest at this point in time. Give it a shot; I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I recently started using DV8. I currently carry the outcast, misfit, and ruckus schitzo. These 3 balls will cover most conditions I face. I am finally comfortable when I have to ball up or down.
