Hey guys I'm in the market for a medium-light oil ball right now and wondering what u guys think of my current setup. Any recommendations are appreciated.

My arsenal:

-Heavy Oil: Columbia Full Throttle - 3 3/8 x 3 3/8, 600 grit sanded
-Medium Heavy to Medium - Brunswick Ultimate Inferno - pin under ring, cg kicked out, 1500 grit polished
-Medium - Columbia Detour - 4 x 4, 2000 grit polished
-Medium Light - Light - ???

I'm a tweener that likes to throw the medium hook as my A game. My B game would be the outside/gutter shot. I can also play inside but not enough revs to play extreme inside. I throw around medium speed with around 250-300 revs or so. That's about it. Thanks!

There are a number of brunswick balls that could go there. A good one I have heard is the chrome yellow power groove. It is stronger then advertised, and fits the medium/light oil spot very well. For SOME people, the intense inferno was a good medium/light ball, but they were people with lower revs I believe. The blazing inferno, if you can find one, was meant for medium/light also. Those are just the 3 off the top of my head though.

well u got quite a bit of options..........

it depends on the reaction u want at the breakpoint....

if u want a hard arc you can go with the time zone

if u want a skid snap, the punisher

the power grooves can be a good choice too but they are known tobe pretty agressive.......

my dry lane ball is a visionary green gargoyle, another good choice.....

u cant go wrong with any of these....  i had a time zone aS A dry lane ball but i retired it after i shot my 800 with it.........

good luck finding a ball

an arc, is the path the ball takes towards the pocket.  It ball will basically be turning the entire way down the lane.

Skid/Snap, means all the balls reaction, is gonna come in the last 15 feet or so.  It will have a steeper entry angle, depending on the way you throw the ball.

thats another one I was just getting ready to post. Great ball! It is nice too because it can do like anything you want. On a normal THS, it can be like super arcy, control ball, or go long turn super hard skid snap ball.
