Purchase recommendations
« on: January 19, 2005, 08:15:42 AM »
I need some bowling ball purchase recommendations, given these factors:

1.    Senior citizen - age 77
2.    Reasonable physical condition
3.    About to enter a senior's handicap league
4.    Haven't bowled on a regular basis for a number of years.
5.    At one time held a league average between 125-140.
6.    Cost is not a special factor

Welcome back to the sport!!

I would strongly suggest picking up both a power groove reactive and a target zone for spares.
The power groove will give you lots of "action" on the lane, but also control.

Generally, Seniors have a little less ball speed, so they have given us great feedback with the Slay/R and Punisher. Real controllable pearl balls, easy enough to get those pesky corner pins.
