Looking at getting a decently strong ball, and don't know what I want. Looking for something versatile, so I was wondering how the revolver reacts to polish.
All replies are appreciated.

Question about polishing the Revolver:
1. Since I believe the Revolver has one of those new "aggressive" 4000 grit surfaces, where they apply the 4000 grit pad over a 500 grit pad (please tell me if that assumption is wrong),
did you apply polish over this stock surface
OR
did you take it down to something like 1500 grit or 2000 grit and then apply polish?
2. Did you try to take it to a "true" 4000 grit surface?
(That is, did you sand it with 500 grit, then 1000 grit, then 2000 grit, then 4000 grit pads?)
Just curious. I think I'd like to try using a stronger ball with polish to use it on medium oil, as that is the most oil I ever see. The stock Revolver is too strong for my release and the oil I see now.
Thanks

Jeff,
I took it back down to 1000 before adding the polish. It took a little more polishing (2 applications) than I anticipated, but the end result has been good for me.

GREAT, we have polished up a few for customers...And the feedback has been excellent...Around here it's tough to stay with a dull ball past the first game...
