quote:Absolute was the bomb.. just died too quick for alot of people including myself. If I could get my hands on another one I'd drill it.. but 16# ones in good condition or NIB are few and far between. And about the Infernos.. I think the Infernos made their name from the coverstock more than the core. The core is just a low rg, high diff (~.050) core.. (besides the modifications they made to some). I personally feel the Inferno coverstock would work on any core with relative numbers to the original core in the Infernos.A good example is of how good the Classic, Strike, Vapor and Red Zones were. This was I believe was a med rg (may be wrong), med diff, med assym core, and these balls rolled phenominal!!!I have only had the pleasure of throwing the Classic, but I have 2 of them drilled, and both of my 300's with the Classic Zone.So overall, coverstock is what made the Infernos to be one of the best lines ever brought out by any company.Edited on 12/12/2007 11:21 PM
quote:700, thanks for the offer.. but if you look in my profile, I currently have way too many balls the way it is. I'm drilling a used Total NV and Raging Inferno next week, so yeah.Maybe once January/February roll around I might post something on here looking for once. So keep a close look for that.
quote:The core is still found in some international releases (Zones and recent Red Alerts), and watch out for some overseas Revolution balls - in some of them the Inferno cores popped up, combined with funny coevsrtocks like PK18 solid and pearl.

The Inferno core and PK18, WOW. The few balls I have used with either PK17 or PK18 are sweet. Mabybe some of the reps can relay this info to the powers that be at Brunswick.--------------------BrunswickKyle
