Title: Anyone happen to know the strength of the SI compared to the Uturn Pearl?

I've been eyeing an SI, but I wonder if it will overlap too much with the UTP, which I like a lot.

BowlingBall.com has created their own hook rating and they feel that the SI gets a 175 and the UT Pearl rates at a 139.

Nice info, I had no idea about that hook rating system.  It's sure helpful given the fact that every company has their own proprietary hook rating system.

I'm not exactly sure how they are coming up with their ratings, but for these two balls it does seem to be a fair assessment just looking at the numbers on the cores themselves.

Factor in the Activator Advanced versus the SuperFlex and it just seems to make sense.
