How did it roll? Were you able to create a ball that you could get inside with and create some good angle?

Yes, and the ball just finished stronger once it found some friction. Depending on your lane surface it could be very strong. Wood lanes, for example, and the polished ball would really allow you to open up your angles...

I am planning on using it on wood lanes when I need to get inside third arrow and deeper when the outside shot gets chewed up

Polishing the original Mastermind should give you the look others have suggested. Might I also suggest looking into a Mastermind Intellect. The Intellect comes with a polished solid reactive cover and produces as much backend reaction as any solid I've ever thrown. If you need to get inside and wheel it with a solid, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one than the Intellect.

Thanks! Gene, I don't need any more excuses to buy a new ball lol. I thought about polishing to try to get out of buying a ball
I'm lucky my ball driller is over an hour away and I don't trust anyone closer

Well... I have all the excuse I need to buy a new ball. My mastermind is now hitting like a wet noodle and sounds very hollow when it hits the pins. A friend said it is because there is a crack inside the ball and it just isn't showing on the outside. I'm thinking about either putting the same surface on my original nightmare before I buy a new ball though

Sorry to hear that your Mastermind may be on the way out. Mine cracked on me earlier this month
Thankfully, Brunswick was kind enough to send me a Nirvana, and I still have the Intellect as the next ball up!
