Just curious. Nick you throw one yet?
-
If you've thrown a Nemesis, you've thrown a Wizard.

That's right. I said it!

Why do you guys think Brunswick came out with the same ball
but just another name and color?
You think the orange wasn't selling?
-
Don't really think it was that, it's just bruns felt like they needed that type of reaction if their lineup, so instead of scrapping it they just remade the ball with a new color design.

Check the numbers. Same core, cover, surface prep, RG, diff, hook potential, length, shape,... I see nothing wrong with what Brunswick did, they are in the business of making money.

I like the newer color, but the old "NEMESIS" logo. The wierd "WIZARD" logo looks all funkety and maybe a bit *ay. <edited for p.c. sensitivity> ( can I say that here?).

I believe they came out with the Wizard simply because the Nemesis was not attractive to the eye. I am sure the Time series balls were outselling the Nemesis from my own experience. The Wizard gives the BVP line more shelf appeal.

Nemesis was out for a while too. It probably got stale and people got bored with it. A modified re-release would pick sales up again.

But other than color, how'd they modify it?

I take re-release to be the exact same ball, color, name, and all. Therefore, the Nemesis was modified in that sense.

If anything...maybe put an additive to the coverstock to make it a touch stronger. Other then that, they did not modify it at all.
