Identifiying Old Ball

Been bowling for quite some time and decided to get a ball of my own but thought I would go with a used ball.  I found this ball but could not find any information on the ball.  Seller says its a Brunswick Pearl.  Doesn't look like the Fury but then again I'm having a difficult time finding information on older balls.

looks like a regular house ball

Its an old plastic ball from many a years ago (20-30ish?). The ball wont hook, best off going to a local pro shop and purchasing a ball from them, if you bought that ball for $20 the cost to get it plugged redrilled and cleaned up it almost the same (if not more) than getting your own plastic ball. The Fury is new and this ball is not. 123bowl.com has tons of info on old balls.

The "Pearl" was a hard plastic ball.  Only good for spares, or extremely dry lanes.  Not worth the money.

Just a plain, old plastic ball with a pancake core.  Most bowlers use balls like this only for spares, if they use them at all.

  If all you want is a round projectile to hurl down the lanes, it is as good as any other plastic houseball

my advice for buying usd is to make sure the owner knows what they are selling. Did the last guy steal someone's bag and is trying to flip it on E-Bay? I'm sure one of the guys on here is close to you and could sell you a quality used ball. Or you could go get yourself a new Power Groove?
