Arsenal Help (New to Brunswick)
« on: July 24, 2007, 04:36:39 AM »
I'm looking for a little help with my arsenal. I haven't thrown a Brunswick ball since the first Pro Active Zone. I drilled a Total Inferno last month and didn't really like it until I polished it. Now I can't put it down. I'm going to drill a Radical, Fury and a Punisher this week.

What I need to know is should I drill a Strike Zone or a Ultimate Inferno to go between the Fury and the Total? Also should I drill a Power Groove Pearl or a Monster Slay/R to go under the Punisher?

Thanks in advance for your help,
DW

Where would it fit and what would you replace?

the notch under the Total Inferno

I still would go:

Total Inferno/Blast Zone
Absolute Inferno/Vapor Zone
Original Inferno
Punisher
Spare Ball

No sure if you throw man weight or not, but I picked up a 16 Lbs Ambitious Zone on ebay CHEAP($45 Shipped) that can cover the Punisher spot, you may want to check that out. High RG core to clear spotty heads without noticing, and PowerKoil 18 Pearl cover for recovery on the back.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Unfortunately I just went to 15lbs a month ago due to shoulder and elbow injury. Lost a lot of strength and range of motion. Don't really like the feel of 15lbs but I've won money so I guess it's okay.

I watched a friend of mine with a little more hand (revolutions off the release) but similar speed throw the Punisher on a condition where I struggled to carry with a Spit Fire. That was the point I decided to try one. Got it cheap on Ebay so it's worth the try. I'll try an Avalanche when they are released also.

How about if you polished the heck out of the blast zone. Would that put it nicely in between a sanded total inferno and a polished rampage???

...and why would you take a ball like that and polish it?

why not just buy a red zone?
use it on the condition its meant for... medium.

I was looking at the hook chart for Brunswick and the OOB finish for the Blast Zone was very similar to the total inferno except the blast zone was more arc and less snap. I was thinking that the polish would take some of the hook potential and quiet the ball a bit
