absolute ( should i take it up to 1000 2000 or 4000 grit to make it for medium to heavy oil)

For the Absolute to be a meadium heavy oil ball, youd probably want it 1000g Matte Finish. Maybe 800g at the lowest. Id try it with out the Matte polish 1st to see the reaction. Matte finish will probably delay the hook just a bit for more snap at the break point.
