Brunswick non pearlised, reactive + particle?
« on: January 15, 2008, 10:47:33 PM »
Hi Guys, just curious if there is any Brunswick Ball having non pearlised, hybrid reactive + particle coverstock in existence? I really liked the Sidewinder and hope that there is a non-pearlized reactive particle version in the BVP lines from the Big B.

Hybrids are pearl and solid. That's the idea. You're asking for a low load particle solid reactive cover, right?

As K-Dawg said, hybrid has pearl in them.

Hybrid means a mix of solid and pearl, so there is no such ball like you are asking about. Without one of the two, it will not be a hybrid.

Sounds like this? The Fuze Eliminator would IMHO be the ball to look out for.  A very strong and versatile ball for medium to oily shots, and a tad stronger than the Sidewinder.

Sorry guys, using the word 'hybrid' was an error. And yes, Dizz, The Fuze Eliminator type of coverstock is the one that I wish was still in production. Hopefully Big B is able to produce the same type of low load particle reactive coverstock in the BVP / Zones lines.

Thanks guys

The Eliminator was/is great - I still have mine, and I won't part until it falls apart. It is such a great oil and carrydown piece, very strong core and utterly aggressive coverstock, yet smooth and controllable.

I think Brunswick could do us all a big favor if some balls would re-appear in a classic line, like the original Inferno, Danger Zone or the Eliminator
