Arsenal Suggestion
« on: January 27, 2006, 02:36:30 PM »
I currently have a Vapor Zone drilled with the pin below and in between the fingers.  The CG is 45 degrees from the pin with an X-hole about 6'' from the center grip.

I am looking to add a ball to create a two ball arsenal.  I'm thinking of a Punisher.  Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jason

how does the vapor oil handle heavy oil ? you may want to get a heavy oil ball instead.

I would only like to carry 3 balls (1 spare).  Right now, when the heads dry out, my Vapor hooks too early.

Is there another Brunswick ball I should look at or is the Punisher the best choice?

I throw around 17 MPH and have high revs (not massive).  Should the Punisher be drilled strong?

Thanks,
Jason

I agree with twoheadedboy, a smokin would be a very good choice. mine is drilled 2L and can handle anything from medium dry to oil. It may be a little crazy in the bone dry, but it eats up the oil on medium and medium oil. It has a nice hard backend and has a lot of length. I love mine and dont intend on getting rid of it anytime soon.
Original inferno would be somewhat good also, drilled to handle lighter oil. it couldnt be drilled to take on the oil, thats what your VZ is for.

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.
