Even though the brunswick pros generally use the lastest Brunswick balls.  Why does it seem to me, that more are using Zone "asymmetric" balls rather that the Inferno "symmetric" balls?  Do the Zone balls match up better to tougher PBA lane conditions or

My experience is that when set up strong they provide more pure backend when the pros need to find the sparse oil in the heads.

Mike Scroggins could not have won without the strong mass bias effect of the strike zone....neither could have Machuga.

Traber lost because he didn't move to a Strike Zone quick enough.

My own personal experience with the TA is showing me that with todays low fricion lanes (Brunswick Anvilanes and some oil(without oil they are like sandpaper) the extra horse power supplied by assymetrics replaces somewhat the missing friction and gives one attack angle and hitting power.

I am on an absolute tear since gettting my TA on the old super hard Brunswick Anvilanes that I bowl on where I  couldn't carry anything for the longest time!

PS these assymetrics generate attack angle quicker than symetrics when drilled strong!  Often has been needed lately.  Note Scroggins with a switch to another company went assymetric in their line...Rule Delta.

i have an H2O (weak MB to begin with) drilled up slighty on the negative side.
and the ball is supposed to be used on drier conditions, and when the backends are flying.

with it layed out like that, and the lanes are drier, it will be relatively tame correct?
