I would commit unspeakable acts to have a re-release of the Absolute Inferno. I love that ball so much.

Frank,
Activator coverstocks last for many hundreds of games. I've heard that the DT Soaker coverstocks also last at least that long, and probably even longer...
What's your point? I may be confused by your post, but are you trying to say that Ultimate Infernos don't last long? Not the case.

I can't wait for mine!

Activator covers might not last longer than every other cover, but most people will agree that they last for an above average amount of games. Of the long list of gripes people have about Brunswick, durability is not even considered by most. I mean, my Absolute has been going strong for well over 500, and possibly over 1000 games. That's pretty f'in durable.

IMO: They are bringing back the wrong Inferno. The Absolute Inferno was one of the best balls they ever made. It was by far the best of the Inferno series. That's the one they should re-release, it was amazing.

I think I see what you're saying now. As far as quality goes, that has yet to be seen (by me). I'll find out when my UI comes in though. But durability is a whole separate issue.

I also agree that if I had to choose just ONE ball to have brought back, it would be the Absolute, but I'm still pretty stoked about the Ultimate.

I/m new, so don't get to hard on me.

This re-release of the Ultimate, will it be made in Mexico by Brunswick?
Love the original, can't find a new one.

If there is someone with a new Ultimate ,15 lbs,and wants to sell it ,send me a message

I wouldn't buy a bowling ball made in Mexico. Support your country and buy a bowling ball manufactured in the USA!

Stand up for yourself and your country. Where would you be if your company moved to Mexico for cheaper labor and costs? Hard working people were probably put out of a job because of the move to Mexico.

You've got to be kidding...go walk around your house and I bet you 85+% of the stuff is manufactured or assembled from a foreign country.

I don't know why this thread had to get to an economic situation, lol.  This was about getting a ball that had a good reception the 1st time around.  Do people understand there aren't really any more all "American" products?  It does suck for those who lost their job when they moved to Mexico, but that's business, and cheaper labor and costs usually help a business, lol.  People need to understand competitive advantage, and that if Brunswick would've stayed put in their domestic location, the consumer suffers, normally w/higher prices.  They'd go belly up in bowling, going against others that utilize international markets.  I'm not sure if my TF is made in mexico, and i really don't care, it's been a great product for me.  At least Brunswick is a domestically-owned company, so those that care can rest that the revenue is going to an American company, lol.

i'm not interested in cheap labour. All i want is a good bowling ball. A lot of re-makes are not as good as the first, there is a re-make of the Night Hawk, its a total different ball, coverstock much thinner than original, Where was that ball produced ? Balls made in mexico are not the best for me ,untill the ultra zone, so i hope they are able to re-make the best ball ever made. the Ultimate inferno
