I just recieved my sting zone and it looks just like a purple silver power groove... It come with 2 pins also on the ball. I am thinking maybe one just marked the MB, and also the top weight was like 1.2oz. Kinda seems like a pro-pin ball to me. Will this ball be kinda strong on the backend or react much like a weaker ball such as the power groove???
   If I am not mistaking the sheet says its a combination of reactive and urathane. This may not be the one to drill...

2 pins?  do you mean a pin and a punch mark for cg?
i picked one up and havent drilled it yet.  mine has a single pin
and a punch mark.  but i do like the colors of it.

No it actually has two identical pins on it. Something coulda went a little wrong and it should have been a punch mark as well... It is in fact a very appealing ball though. For 49 free shipped heck you cant go wrong! I think I will plce my pin way above my fingers putting my pap about 5-6 inches from my pin. It may go to straight and if it does I may just use it as a spare ball. Anyone else want to add to this...?

Someone had asked about this ball in a earlier chat. The ball is going to be weaker than a power groove would be my guess. If you dont have the ball specs look in some of the past topics. I put them up for someone else. They are very good looking balls

Sounds like a good ball for something just a step above plastic on almost-but-not-completely-burnt lanes.

It's a T-Zone core with a reactive shell.  Power Groove coverstock with less flare in the core due to it not having the offset puck (D.I.S.C.)

This ball would probably be great for slower speeds on burnt up lanes. The red/silver one is an awesome looking ball too. I havent seen the purple one. I would love to have one but we only have 10 and 12lb in the shop I work in.
