rattler
« on: August 17, 2009, 02:30:04 PM »
i've been able to test my new rattler a lot more lately and i'm sure impressed. i used one last year( february to april )and was impressed with it's ease thru the heads and the strong skid/snap backend reaction. i didn't bowl at all till late june and after several weeks of using a plastic ball went back to a reactive ball. i had gotten used to a rico drilled wild ride and was impressed by that piece of equipment and the reaction it offered. now the rattler jogged my memory of what this ball was all about.

i came across a different lane condition today when i was using the rattler and was forced to play much deeper than i prefer to. a change to 60 degrees of axis rotation along with a big move left on both the approach and the lane was in order and the rattler had no problem getting down the lane and snapping out the 10 pin. this ball shows great recovery if given any amount of oil in the heads.  this is one impressive pearl ball from brunswick.

yes, the Rattler is a very impressive piece, especialy at the price it is at. Very versatile with the modified Rico drill I have on mine.

Long time keeper.
