Avalanche Pearl compared to Power Groove Reactive
« on: March 26, 2008, 12:20:50 AM »
We have just received our first Avalanche Pearl and have watched BrunsNick's vidoes and I was wondering what the difference was between it and a power groove reactive. Everyone that makes a post about the pearl says it is fairly straight. The light bulb core works great for me so I was looking at picking one up but not sure if I want the solid or pearl.

Thanks everyone

IME overall hook is about the same, but the Av is much smoother from front to back.  The Av is strong enough to turn the corner without being quite as touchy at the break as the Power Groove.

Not so straight for me!On a ths,it hooks plenty!Almost a skid/snap look on most house shots I've used it on.I was hoping for more of a dry lane ball, but for me,this isn't it.
