I have one drilled with a 5" pin to PAP which places the pin above my bridge and shading my ring finger. The CG is slightly right of the grip center. The cover is box. I use this successfully on Cheetah and on our house shot which has a log of over under. I play the outside of this pattern where the oil volume is low. that approach helps me to overcome the over/under created by the typical house shot.
The reaction that I get is very clean through the heads with good length. When the ball reads the friction it makes a very aggressive move. Super ball on Cheetah. Also, drilled on with a similar layout for a friend who went to the U.S. Open. He was able to play that ball for quite a while and saw the same reaction I described above.
