Radical Inferno, where does it fit?
« on: June 22, 2006, 04:15:41 AM »
Is the new Radical Inferno a Smokin' Inferno replacement? or if not, where would it fit in brunswick's ball chart?

Im guessing a stronger Smokin' from what the site says about the ball. The backend is supposed to be more angular and stronger and start earlier than the Smokin' from what I read. But I dont know where that would fit in.

It will fit right into a reserved spot in my heart!

I don't know anything about the ball yet, hopefully Octane is similar to Original Activator!

Ta 152,

Exactly why is our chart not a good estimate of what a ball will do? The chart is an "out of the box" ball to ball comparison of Brunswick equipment developed with the use of ThroBot. It's our opinion that it could not be any more accurate. If there was a way to improve it believe me we would. It does not tell a bowler what a specific ball will do for them, it shows what each ball does in reference to each other under common conditions with common layouts.
With that being said, our goal was to make this ball cleaner through the front compared to the Absolute, yet stronger downlane than the Smokin'. I have a feeling, at least for me, that it will give me the look of the Original Inferno, just more overall of everything the OI had.  I'm looking forward to that.

forget about the inferno. Did you see the Wizard?  Whoa!  I can't wait to get another Bruiser since that ball was so good.
Brunswick sure doesn't hold back when it comes to R&D.

I think they should get a little more updated (not too much) and go with:

The Tight Inferno
OR
The Off the Hizzy Inferno
