Monster SlayR vs. Zone X Low Diff
« on: March 04, 2005, 01:38:54 PM »
For those of you who have thrown both balls, preferably side-by-side, which one was stronger, and how much difference did you see between the two?

I have the specs and drill sheets for both balls, but as we all well know, they don't nearly tell the whole story when it comes to real-world ball reaction.

Thanks as usual.

The ScreamR was actually a remake of the Zone X Touring Edition 2.

The Zone X Low Diff had the XLR coverstock, and the Xometric core.

I have thrown both and the slayr is more flippy too me. mine x zone doenst hook much anymore unless i put a few more revs on it. personally i think the zone is more versatile and prob can hook more overall. ive kept my zone but got rid of the slayr which is a good ball just didnt have a use for it

Thanks for the info.  I've got a couple of Zone X Lows sitting in the closet, and I'm just wondering what to expect out of them when the time comes to put holes in them.

I like my SlayR, but it doesn't do the left-to-right thing as well as I'd like.
