Ball In Between 4.5 and Slingshot
« on: January 16, 2012, 02:47:45 AM »
Hi,

I need help finding a good in between ball on THS.

4.5 - 500 w/ Rough Buff - Pin under ring finger cg slightly out. Great through the front, smooth arc from mid to pins.
Slingshot - 4000 w/ Factory Finish - Pin over fingers cg slightly out. Long with smooth arc. Needs dry to finish.

I just need a ball in between as I'm happy with the motion of my current set up but get caught in between them sometimes.

Any suggestions. Karma, Reckless?

DV8 Missfit would fit in there nicely

if your looking for arc to hard arc motion, i'd go brunswick line-up(probably karma solid, or massive damage w/longer pin to pap layout) if you want more skid flip motion,(dv8, reckless, too reckless)

Id look at Massaive Damage...Karma is good, but be wary....it is strong!

I'd wonder if the Massive Damage wouldn't fit ABOVE the 4.5. It uses Activator+ and is earlier with  the same, if not more hook than the 4.5. Only difference is the 4.5 saves it all for the backend.

I'd recommend the Karma Pearl. It should fit dead center between the 4.5 and the Slingshot. The Karma will also be a lot smoother than the Misfit but still plenty of drive & backend for medium-light oil.

I would be pretty sure the Massive would fit above the 4.5...the 4.5 was fairly weak cover

The Massive Damage is more than the 4.5 as Rico and Charlest mention. I would suggest either the Karma Solid or Pearl. They are fairly similar. Reckless will be more than the 4.5 as well.

I agree that the Massive is above the 4.5, for me anyway.  Perhaps the Karma pearl fits in that spot.
