Depends on how you define "heavy oil."  Around here, most of the "heavier" patterns still have some friction outside and down lane, so I can get away with using an Ultimate Inferno.  However, if the patterns were longer and/or flatter, I'd opt for something particle, like the Goliath or a scuffed Impulse Zone.
