It is Activator pearl, the same still used on the Classic Zone. It has avery low RG, and I would not call the reaction snappy. You can generate a tremendous back end with it, but like many older (well, 2-3 years+) Brunswick balls I'd consider it rolly and (hard) arcing by nature, but not truly jumpy with a hard break point. OOB good for medium to medium-oily conditions. Coverstock is quite aggressive. Medium-dry only if you are a spinner, does a great job on this condition for low trackers.

the ball actually has a very smooth roll.. you throw it it starts to turn 60% down the lane and is winding up and then just jumps into the pocket usualy destroying the deck.. you throw it and then the axis rotation changes and then the ball moves.. its a quality ball, i would pick one up if you still can, if you have 100 dollars i would get the brunswickpba ball off of amazon.com its 99.99 and it is the original inferno with new colors thats all..

In drilled my OI for Medium oil, and it has a very smooth hard arc. It gets a little crazy off the dry, but give it some oil and it will eat it up!
it is also Pearl.

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.
