Sidewinder good for low rev players?
« on: October 28, 2007, 09:52:57 AM »
Will it be a good bench mark ball for me?( medium to medium heavy).

Ball speed about 16 mph. Rev rate about 150 rpm?( not sure, stable wrist but don't have a lot of hands).

Last Thursday a low rev player threw his Sidewinder against us and he actually did better than I recall in the past.  The ball rolled evenly and hit pretty hard for the guy.

As for mine, it has bailed me out several times when the backends get real ugly because of carrydown.  It rolls a lot like the Absolute Inferno, which was a great ball for many bowlers.

Thank you very much! So with the RG low lower than 2.5 would indicate that it'll start rolling sooner? But aren't most brunswicks like that? So are most "oil" balls?
