A happy ending to a tragic situation.
« on: December 12, 2014, 07:00:07 PM »
So I get home from work today, to see that 9x9x9 box that we all love to see on our doorstep. I open it up and all I could do was

In all seriousness,  br user directdrill saw my post and in a great gesture sent me his old csystem free of charge.  I couldn't be more thankful and he should be commended for being a stand up guy a poster. I promised him that I would "pay it forward" as a token to the BR community.  So in turn I will look into my storage and find a ball that I will give away for free to a BR user. I haven't figured out what it will be yet or the details but when I do I will post it and pick the winner at random.

I encourage everyone this holiday season to be a bit more thankful, neighborly, and to appreciate each other more. We as bowlers are a real "community" and it will be my pleasure to help my brothers in the community.

Happy holidays!

Wow! I remember your post (it was hilarious! Not what happened, but the gifs) and  I really feel happy for you that someone else helped you giving away one of his bowling balls! Kudos to directdrill! This week I had a similar experience in my bowling alley, and as good as it feels to receive something, it also feels really good when you can help someone and make their day! Enjoy your ball and happy holidays!

Very cool.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Great gesture and great topic and it's great cuz it's the season of giving.

Pay It Forward.  Here's a Pay It Forward topic on a golf forum that Pinbuster and I and Sawbones frequent when Doc was alive plus others here that I don't know about.  126 pages.

I have more golf clubs to Pay Forward than bowling balls but you get the idea.  I will start one.  Shipping is the issue now a days.
