This was the first Brunswick particle ball for which I learned that everything Brunswick said about manipulating their particle covers with Trizact pads was absolutely true.
I tried polishing and sanding many, many times in many ways. Any changes made to the Imperial QUantum's ball reaction was strictly minimal. Then I got the 4 Trizact pads (green, blue, orange and white) and a CAB (concave holder with velcro to hold the pads). Now every change was a true ball reaction change. It was just amazing. The white pad, a standard finish on many Bruncwick particles, put almost a shine on the ball. Polish applied ontop of that finish did make a difference.
Silicon carbidem the abrassive in/on wet/dry sandpaper and Abralon pads only affected the resin base of these particle balls. Only Trizact was actually hard enough to cut the particles also.
While Brunswick's current particles do appear to be able to modified by wet/dry sandpaper, they still seem to be harder than most other companies' particles.
