I am a long time Brunswick user and i've had almost all
the infernos from activator to activator max. Well the
other day Ritchie Allen and i were bowling one Regional
Pattern 3, and he just got off Track staff and was on storm
staff for a few years. He recently got 2 Vapor Zones and a Scorchin.
While we were bowling he mentioned to me that the covers
on the Brunswick balls don't seem to absorb oil as well
as the Ebonite and Hammer balls he was using. I didn't know
what to say but that mine were similar, the oil doesn't
absorb as fast as other companies balls. Is this common
for activator covers, the balls are brand new so they
aren't oil clogged. If the oil is still on the cover
the shots can be inconistent. Just thought i'd ask...
