I have an original danger zone drilled simply label leverage with a 2-3" pin with what I can guarantee having at least a thousand games on it.  As much as I love the ball to death, and it has a fantastic reaction, I know that in its 9th year of use, it is on its last legs.  I can only resurface this ball so many times and sooner, not later, it will not finish any more.  What ball should I get to replace it???

I am thinking somewhere between the Nemesis and the Bruiser...any suggestions??

lol. not a bad idea!! the only problem is that I throw 16lbs.
Is there any other ball that would RESEMBLE the DZ??  And it doesn't necessarily have to be a ball from Big B.

I have 2 Danger Zones, 2 Time Zones, and have or "had" two Bruisers. The Time Zone "looks" like a Danger Zone, but it is significantly higher in RG than a DZ. This in addition with the mass bias theoretically make it a more angular ball. This has been my experience as well. However, this is layout dependent. I drilled a Time Zone to give me a small controlled rolly arc - and that's what it did:

Only this ball has a balance hole - small to bring it to +1/2

In my experience - given similar layouts and surfaces, you won't find a lot of difference between the Danger Zone and Bruiser. Slightly more flare in a DZ, but extra flare no-madda according to Big-B.
The Time Zone can be made to be more angular, but it's not a huge difference. Given that Time Zones are harder to find, and Bruisers are easy and cheap, it's no contest. The Nemesis should also be close enough to consider.
