I recently picked up an Evil Seige and Morich Mojave. Which two balls would you recommend to go above and below the Evil Seige, being that the Mojave would be the lowest in the arsenal, strictly for dry lanes?
-
What type of ball motion are you seeking, and for what lane conditions? Also, how do you usually like to play lanes?

In the current state of my game, I do not play deep inside, usually no farther in than 15-20. I am working on it in order to play deeper. As far as lane conditions, I am usually on house conditions, but would like to hit the tournaments next summer. As far as ball motion, a strong arc, since I dont go inside enough for the skid/flip. Hope this helps.

To handle more volume than the Evil, while retaining a similar ball motion, you could go with either a Siege or Revolver. Diamondback could be a choice as well, but it wouldn't give you *quite* as much separation from the Evil.
For something to get you from the Evil to the MOjave, I'd look at either the Rattler or Python, or perhaps a polished Anaconda. You *could* consider an Avalanche, but this might give you too much overlap with the MOjave.

the wicked siege is a great compliment to ball down from the evil. as far as a ball in front of the evil, i'd suggest looking at the 2.5 or anaconda.
-
I'm with RSalas on this one, siege for ball up, rattler or possibly even an Anaconda for ball down.

Get the 3.5 for ball up and the rattler for ball down. that way you are spreading your arsenal enough. The Seige was not bad, but it just didnt hook a lot. The 3.5 is WAY stronger. The avalance is too close to the mojave, the python would be close to the evil, especially when some of the polish wears off. The 2.5 is almost the same as the evil, just a smidge more push and downlane reaction.

My suggestion would be Revolver and 4.5

Thanks a lot everybody! The ball up is a easy decision (Revolver). Ball down, whew! Lots of choices! What are the differences between the Python and Rattler? If I can get a good deal between the two, which would you jump on? Also, what about the Damage and 4.5?

I had both the Rattler and the Python. Both were drilled with the pin 5" from PAP, above the fingers, no XH, and both are in box finish.
For me, the Rattler started up several feet earlier, with a smoother transition into a moderate arc, much like the original Inferno did for me, and like the Zones of the mid-to-late 1990s. On the same condition, the Python pretty much ignored the first 30 to 35 feet of the lane before going into a harder arc. On that condition (fresh THS on a horrible surface), the Rattler was about two-and-one to three-and-two stronger overall, but I could get deeper with the Python without losing recovery.
Hope this helps.

A Seige or Revolver for the "up"...and a Rattler or Python for the "down"
