Nexus solid

For those of you who have the Nexus solid, how many games did you put on it before you noticed less reaction and resurfaced back to factory finish?  Thanks in advance.

Sunshine, I had somewhere between 100-150 games when I noticed a little weaker motion. All I did was throw it into the Revivor and it was fine again.

It kinda depends on what volume you're seeing, but you can take a scotch brite or other abrasive and rough it up a little by hand  if you want it to read earlier and still finish.

As was mentioned earlier, all Brunswick stuff responds well to the Revivor and resurfacing to bring back the effects of many games. Oil absorption is part of the equation while the other part is the "topography" of the surface. I have yet to see a Big B ball "die" to where I couldn't get it's reaction back. I cannot say that for all equipment made today.

I have 120 games or so and so far so good.

Clean and Dull after each use and a light sanding of 1000 then 2000 every 50 games.

I'm sure it's due to get some oil out but no loss in reaction just yet.

Haven't lost any reaction.  got probably 100 games on it so far.  Hit it with a 1500 pad every 9 games to keep the surface fresh as recommended. Clean it after every set.  Ball maintenance is essential to retaining reaction.  Lack of care will always decrease performance.
