Need a ball that goes longer
« on: April 17, 2007, 08:36:08 AM »
I need something that gets downlane and makes the turn harder... I like the Vapor Zone and the way it reacts but I need something that will go longer.  What do you guys think, I am thinking of another Vapor polished and drilled weak to pick up later.  I do not pretend to know anything about layouts so let me put this into all of your  capable hands.

Sounds like a Smokin Inferno will fit the reaction you're looking for.

i agree, possibly if you end up getting a new VZ, pin above the middle finger, kick the MB out like deadflush said, and if thats not enough length, powerhouse extender polish works well too!

See if you can find a Track Exception. Drill it pin above ring finger. Mass bias right of thumb hole, if your right handed. Polish with magic shine. Ball goes long and strong and the carry is great on a ths!

I found the Rampage to be a good compliment to the Vapor. I also for awhile used another Vapor with a weaker lengthly drilling as a step down from my pin down Vapor.

I am doing this for some of the tougher shots, I bowled the Chameleon this Weekend and felt I needed something stronger on the backend but with length.  I want to stay with Brunswick Equip

Go with a VAL drill on a new Vapor and watch the magic, down the lane and don't forget to bring your turn signals!  If you want to try one cheap I have one that I got second hand and plugged the fingers on 2x that I would be willing to sell for $50 shipped.  I dropped to 14's so the 15's gotta go.  Plus it was just rejuvinated also has 4000 grit abralon surface, real winner.  PM me if you are interested, or if not just try one with the VAL drill and I PROMISE you will like it.

Consider an Awesome Finish from Morich. Compared with Morich's Activator+ balls (Awesoem Flip, Shock & Awe) this ball is supposed to go longer and snap harder - and first user voices confirm this impression.

A Smokin' Inferno might also be a good choice, though, it fares very well on less oil and is a step "down" from a Vapor Zone or Absolute Inferno for late games.
