Ringer Vs. DV8 Misfit Pearl
« on: January 27, 2013, 01:50:20 PM »
Hope I can get an opinion on the Ringer Vs the new Yellow Misfit Pearl.  Or if you have other suggestions besides these two I am all ears.

Which of these balls would work better on 38-40ft patterns that have been blown open?  Ringer or Misfit? or other?

I bowl in tourneys that use THS shots.  ARound the 5th - 6th game all of my stuff wants to quit on me.

I have a Columbia Eruption,
Columbia Ransom Demand
Storm Reign Supreme,
Storm IQ Tour Solid
Meanstreak,
VErsa Max.

They are all drilled w/ 4-5" pin to pap, pin on the high side of fingers .  All of these balls want to quit on me.  I have played w/ surface changes on all them and it didn't help.

Rev Rate (CATS) - 325 - 375 (Avg)
Speed (CATS) - 18
Axis Tilt - 12
Axis Rotation - 30-60
PBA-x Avg - 205
THS Avg - 226

post 13 and 14 discuss that in this thread - http://www.ballreviews.com/brunswick/got-to-the-throw-the-new-brunswick-balls-t292156.0.html

You are right.  Sorry for the dupe question.

But if anyone else has thrown both, please chime in.  Balls can react so different on various surfaces and oil patterns.  My Meanstreak is a turd in one house and a virtual monster in another out of town house that I went to.
