I am almost about out of my current Black Magic cleaner and I was wondering what is the best cleaner that is available out there?

I agree ... TRACK Clean and Dull for removing surface oil/dirt AND for deep cleaning a bit into the surface of the ball; also LEGENDS ball cleaner ... but it has VERY strong odor and needs to be used in a well-ventilated area.

Depends what type cleaner you are looking for. If you are looking for liquid a cleaner to clean your balls at the lanes after every bowling session, Black Magic Rejuvinator is the best I have found and I have tried almost all of them as well as running tests on them vs the Black Magic Rejuvinator. The Legends Cleaner is also good, but the fumes it gives off are over whelming and could be considered a safery hazzard if not used in a very-well ventilated area and not good to use if you have lung problems. If you are talking about a deep cleaner to clean your balls every 10-15-20 games or so, Track Clean and Dull that Robb mentioned (now known as Clean and Tacky) is as good as you will find.

Right now, PowerHouse Ball Cleaner (non Energizer) is my favorite.

I like Poker house and the Brunswick Remove all but my new favorite is the Lane Concepts cleaner.

I actually like the results I get from Storm Xtra Clean... nice tacky surface when I'm done and seems to get quite a bit of oil off the ball.

Like another bowler said, it depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

For dull balls, particle or solid sanded reactives I like the Rev it Particle cleaner.  It really pulls the oil off balls.

I have used simple green on polished balls.  It leaves a kind of slippery film that makes the ball go long, and generally doesn't take the polish off.

I have also used Storm cleaner and Brunswick cleaner.  The Brunswick cleaner I had was in a rectangular bottle, white with a green top.  All the writing wore off so I didn't know what to get to replace it, but this stuff was really the trick for a rough buff ball like AI.

If anyone knows what the Brunswick cleaner might be, I would appreciate it.  I had some great scores using that cleaner.

For me the key is I clean each ball before putting it in the bag.  My ball driller tells me my stuff is in excellent shape.  He routinely gets balls in from people that are just oil soaked.  I bet I have a 125 games or more on AI with just a few polish jobs, ball is still great. Like new.

This combination (especially the alcohol) will RUIN some of the more current aggressive coverstocks, especially those in the Ebonite One series and some Hammer products such as the No Mercy and Black Widow. I would reccomend against this.

TRACK CLEAN 'N DULL IS THE BEST! PERIOD!

Remember to always clean your ball with water after using WHATEVER cleaner you choose. Any cleaner, if not washed off by water, will stay in the coverstock pores, leaving a residue that will cause your ball reaction to deteriorate.

I totally agree 100%! These are by far the best things on the market and I have pretty much tried them all! Half of them on the market wont even remove dirt off the ball and are a waste of money!
