The Dry/R gets my vote as 1st choice. Very smooth, tame reactive ball, and still with flare to get it into a roll.

The Urethane Groove lacks this, it just has a pancake. Even though it handles light conditions, too, it can move a lot if are a lower rev player. It is stronger than one would expect. I friend of mine bought one as a spare ball, but on late games it moves as much as his Rampage!

Slay/R is a so so solution. Never had one myself, but waht I heard about it is that it is for may players either love or hate.

the Dry/R is exactly that, a ball for dry lanes.

So you saying its a good dry lane ball...

quote:
it actually hooks a ton on the dry stuff, so much so that i had to polish it over a 2000 grit surface just to get it down the lane.

So now your saying its not a good dry lane ball..lol

If the ball hooks that much on dry and you had to polish more to get it down the lane, the why is it a good dry lane ball ?...because the name ?

...lol...

do you look for every one of my posts for sh*ts and giggles? every time i make a post you look for something to say about it. either contribute and help the OP, or don't bother.

and the ball does hook a ton, but not on anything more than dry like it was designed for. i can shoot 10 pins with it on anything heavier, and the only reason i polished it is because it wouldn't get down the lane with my revrate, which surprised me. if you're using a ball designed for a specific condition, and you're having problems getting a consistent look, you alter the surface.

i did what i felt was required for ME to score with the ball. now please, sod off.

Did you even read what wrote in your first post ?

Consider this...We all know the user that started this post,BrunswickBowler123 asks alot of questions about different balls to try to get some opinions on them. I'm pretty sure he's not real tech savvy on all this (not thats that a bad thing).

I wasn't trying to tid-bit you post apart, but you can't tell me you don't see how your post could be confusing ?

Many people would be confused by someone saying, "it's a great dry lane ball, but I had to polish the hell outta it to even get down the lane !"

The common user would then say, "well if it's so good dry why polish it and why did you have a tuff time with it over hooking ?"

Seriously, thats not a even a little confusing to you ?
