Big-B Stands Behind its Products
« on: May 26, 2004, 09:14:12 AM »
Remember my ugly "Predator Inferno"? A Brunswick representative who shall remain anonymous decided that I had been misled when I purchased this ball online from an ebay seller (who will also not be named) who SHOULD have sold it as an off-color blem and "erroneously" sold it as a first quality ball. Now, even though I drilled this ball and have owned it for quite a while, Brunswick sent me another ball for no charge. That's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE! That's just one small reason among many that I throw Brunswick equipment. You might now notice the phrase "off color" prominently displayed in the ball description on some Infernos for sale on ebay. Wonder why?? Perhaps when the supplier barks, the retailers listen?

RandyO, thats great.  Luckily I have never had to deal with Big B's customer service department.  I have never had any problems with equipment purchased.  However, I have email Tom Tomaras on numerous occasions and he is always will to help and provide quick replies.

I have not dealt with them in recent times, but several years ago I lost a bridge and two finger holes in a Danger Zone to serious cracking.
They sent me a new one, no problem.

I throw a LOT of Brunswick equipment, and have not had any more problems.

Still have the replacement DZ, too!

Just a question.  Are you talking about Infernos like the one I saw for sale on ebay that looked real muddied, not at all like a 1st quality Inferno?  The guy that had it for sale on ebay said it had worked the same for him just was real ugly.

Mine was beyond "muddied". It was just downright butt-ugly with a huge orange blotch. It should have been sold as a blem.
