SlayR vs Bruiser
« on: December 01, 2003, 08:13:54 PM »
What is the main difference between these 2 balls?  Can you play in med/dry to dry with the Bruiser or is this only for the SlayR?  I am looking for a ball for a high rev, high speed player that will get down the lane for Med/Dry fresh patterns or broken down patterns.  I also want an even reacting ball off the dry, no skid flip. Pearls generally skate too much and are generally too skid-flip that is why I am siding towards the Bruiser.  Thoughts and comments are welcome.

Bruiser might be a little strong in the cover and quick in the core for that role. The Slay/r might be a little weak for medium unless you have a ton of hand. Sounds like what you need is a Monster Red/Black if you can find one. Fits right between the Bruiser and SlayR.

I know it's a pearl, but isn't the Frenzy also between the Bruiser and the Slay/R?  Might be a good compromise...
