Bruiser is "more ball". Stronger back end with identical layouts. The Blazing is a good control ball for bigger handed players on tough shots, and can smooth out a medium dry house shot, but over all across most medium conditions I prefer the Bruiser. It hits better and carries more reliably. The Bruiser revs up a bit easier and quicker but doesn't JUMP at the breakpoint - pretty good control. The Blazing gets easy length but doesn't have the backend that the Bruiser does. I just haven't seen any shots yet where there isn't something else in my bag that does a better job than the Blazing - it's a pretty ball but it doesn't match up for me at all. I'm finding very few bowlers that like it. Those that do love it. There just aren't that many of them. The Bruiser is mutch more versatile. It is very strong when given surface - doesn't burn up like a particle ball but still has decent traction in oil. If I could only have two balls in my bag and nothing else, the Bruiser would be one of them.
Oh - it's cheaper than the Blazing also!
